Hugo Gagnon is a biotechnology entrepreneur and executive with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of multi-omics, drug development, and company building. Trained in biochemistry, pharmacology, and proteomics, he brings deep expertise in mass spectrometry, LC-MS/MS, and multi-omics data integration. His career quickly moved beyond the laboratory: he founded and scaled an academic spinout into a successful multi-omics contract research organization, leading strategy, operations, business development, and financing.

As Chief Executive Officer of Neolys Pharma, he combines scientific depth with entrepreneurial leadership to advance the development of novel oncology therapies. His strength is translating scientific complexity, whether data quality, mechanistic relevance, or development risk, into clear strategies for teams, partners, investors, and the board.
