Christian Roby, B.Pharm

Hailing from Quebec City, Christian Roby is a cofounder of Neolys Pharma and has been its CEO since its founding in 2023. His bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Université Laval (1993) and his certificate in economics have allowed him to combine clinical pharmacy with entrepreneurship in his career. Roby spent nearly 9 years working in a hospital in New Brunswick before returning to Quebec City to become the owner of two Uniprix pharmacies, which he managed for 13 years. Following the sale of his pharmacies, he continued to work as a salaried pharmacist while becoming actively involved as a member of Anges Québec, a venture capitalist network.

As an angel investor, he has made nearly 20 investments, becoming a shareholder in several highly promising start-ups, including Moka (acquired by Mogo Inc.), oxio (acquired by Cogeco Connexion), Puzzle Medical Devices, Polystyvert, and Zilia.
