Agreement on an exclusive licence option from Université Laval for the commercial exploitation of aminosteroid derivatives.
Neolys Pharma and Université Laval have entered into an agreement granting the company an exclusive licence option for the commercial exploitation of aminosteroid derivatives.
These compounds originate from work carried out at Université Laval by the team of Dr. Donald Poirier, professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine and cofounder of Neolys Pharma. The agreement gives the company the access it needs to develop this family of molecules, including RM-581.
The option forms the foundation of Neolys Pharma’s intellectual property. It gives the company the right to obtain an exclusive licence on these compounds and secures the continuation of its preclinical development programme.
